What do you do at Homeserve Furniture Repairs:
What don't I do! LOL. Well where do I start? I am ultimately responsible for customer service and dealing with escalations on every level. I am also responsible for technical support for technicians onsite and from within the office, dealing with technical requests and queries from clients.
Over the last 3 years I have been responsible for inducting new technicians, and head the training team in making sure they are road ready and prepared for the challenges of being a furniture technician in 2020.
There is more but I think I will leave it there otherwise it will end up being a short story.
What do you like about working at Homeserve Furniture Repairs:
There is a running joke here and most people would agree, if you cut me I would bleed blue and white. But that's just me as a person I suppose. If you're going to have a career or work for a company, you have to be committed and always have a positive proactive approach to everything you do and action.
This attitude can only inspire people around you and if you do it with a smile on your face more the better.
We are a crazy lot here but we get on and get the job done and our success reflects this.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working:
Eat....LOL. I also eat when I’m working by the way. Seriously though I love my sport and my beloved Bolton Wanderers and I listen to music (mainly Genesis), watch films and documentaries. If I said I went to the gym and walked a lot I would be lying.
I have played and coached football and cricket, also I have ran a successful amateur football club down in sleepy Suffolk for over 17 years. My 2 kids still live down there and followed in the old man's footsteps loving their sport as much as I do. Relaxing is easy for me, too easy!!
